Massive bluegills! Never seen them that big before but one day. My question is on the slip bobber set up, is the only way to know how deep to set it is by having a depth finder? I’m having a hard time fishing without a depth finder for crappie or bluegill due to not knowing how deep to set up my slip bobber setup

I’m disappointed that you only included finding the bluegill beds for the first spot. The majority of this video was just watching you cast and catch fish. I thought the subject was how to find the beds.

That can definitely be tough. At minimum a down scan would be sufficient. It gives you water depth, temp and you can see structure.

Unfortunately, I and many others don’t have access to a boat where are the spots for those of us who Bank fish💁🏽
Best thing to do is find a bank and have at it. You can usually see the beds from the bank.

I’m sorry brother. Just find a bank in 10-14 feet of water and side scan it. They are there.
